Take a memorable trip to VENICE,ITALY with two experienced artists who will capture the city and create unforgettable art, paintings and memories.
Theresa Airey and Marilyn Sholin will be your hosts for the week.

TYPICAL DAY IN VENICE:
A typical day will be to get up early, photograph whilst Venice is
quiet and empty for about two hours…. Leave at 7am and return around
9am. Breakfast is served to 10am.
Have a wonderful breakfast
Relax for a bit then meet back in the lounge for two hours of digital
workshop (l0: 30 to 12:30) Marilyn and I will switch days for teaching.
Around 1pm we will go out and forage for food ☺
After which we can get our equipment and go out to photograph. Or
to shop or whatever you have you wish to do. We can go out as a group
or individually. This is your workshop and we want you to do whatever
makes you happy. If you do not wish to get up early and go out…stay in
bed and sleep or read….meet us later in the breakfast room.
We will not teach on the days that we have “all day outing”. One of
those days will be our trip to Bruano. And perhaps a day outing to
Chiogga. There will also be one day free…. Sleep in, go shopping, etc.
There will be one day when we all get up early, eat early and get to
St. Mark’s Square by 8:30 to 9 am. This is the only way to get into
the Cathedral and into the Doge’s palace without the crowds. On this
day we will probably meet after lunch back at the hotel to have our
meeting and digital workshop in the late afternoon.
We ask that you come to this workshop with an open mind and leave with
one filled with new creative techniques and new ideas that you will
incorporate into your own vision and your own work.
On our photographic outings, both Marilyn and Theresa will
be there for pointing out good compositions, exposures, and camera
techniques. Our goal will be that
you leave Venice with a sharper perceptual vision and expand your creative
mind. And, of course, take home
unique and wonderful images.
