This
is a Sun/Monday allowing for people arriving Friday or Saturday and
enjoying Asheville and the Smokies for a few days first. Rate for the
workshop is $399 and includes continental breakfast (most hotels also offer breakfast) and lunch each day plus yummy snacks.
Breakfast and Doors Open at 8am!
Class Hours: 9am to 5pm with set up of laptops starting at 8am.
We
have two laptops and some extra Wacom Intuous 3 tablets available on a
first come first reserved basis. (No extra fees for them).
We will also be printing the artwork on Red River Paper for you to take home your new artwork.
Register NOW before we sell out! Rates at the local hotels are reasonable and we will send a list
of places to stay. Come with a friend and share a room to save on
accommodations. Plenty of parking available for the workshop at our new Asheville: State of the Arts Workshop.
This class is LIMITED to fourteen!Dinner as a class on Sunday night and spouses are invited to join the class for dinner. (On your own fees for dinner)

Required for this Workshop:
Painter 11 loaded on your own computer.
Photoshop any version from 7 up
Wacom Tablet (ideally an Intuous 3 or 4 6x8 tablet)
Bring a WIRELESS MOUSE for your laptop.
(You will be glad you did.)
*Please note that Marilyns workshops concentrate on turning photos to art via a variety of different methods
requiring Corel Painter 11 and other plug ins and software. Before the workshop you will be sent all the
download info.
OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL DAY:
Paint ON the Canvas!
On
Tuesday July 13th we are offering an optional day of Embellishing the
Canvas! We will be printing one of your paintings on canvas and teach
you how to seal it and use gel mediums and acrylic paints to embellish
your final digital art into a true mixed media 3D painting!
ADDITIONAL FEE: $100.00
